Again, this is not bargain brand pricing… but it is also not bargain brand quality. This sofa is built to last, and you will pay that price, but I feel that it is worth the investment. Honestly, it is better quality than Restoration Hardware sofas I’ve seen, which are usually twice as expensive! I would say pricing is comparable to, if not better than, your typical mid-range home stores like Pottery Barn and Crate & Barrel. They offer interest-free financing through Affirm, which we took advantage of and paid off the sofa over 6 months to break up that large sum a bit. The thing I’m most impressed with is that the bench cushions still look great.
Turns out our previous sofa was shallower than a standard sofa which explains why this one felt so big. I actually like how deep it is for comfort and after using it for 9 weeks it doesn’t feel as bulky in our small living room. If you’re able to wait longer and pay a little extra for unique handmade pieces of luxurious furniture, then Maiden Home is definitely worth your while.
Ordering process
They are on the firmer side, but still plush and comfortable. Our family of 4 can easily lounge on it during the weekends. I’m 5’9, my husband is 5’11, and my teenager is 5’2 and it works comfortably for all of our heights. The firmer cushions really keep their shape, while still allowing you to sink in and relax. The sofa part is 38 inches deep, while the chaise is 65 inches deep and 31 inches wide.
We aren’t super strict when it comes to snacks and pets on the couch but it’s nothing Folex can’t handle. I also have this upholstery steam vacuum which I try to use every 3 months or so and usually like to get my furniture professionally cleaned every 6 months. For pillows I went with scatter back pillows and Marissa went with straight back pillows . Both the sectionals and sofas can have either type of pillow choice. The scatter back is usually a mess – my kids or pup tossing them on the floor. They never manage to stay looking in order (ya feel me?!) and finding your seat involves shuffling the pillows to get comfy. For me, it turned out to be a little bit high-maintenance and I would not recommend the scatter back version. Marissa went with the straight back and what’s nice about that is you can purchase your own pillows to accessorize.

And no, they do not fluff no matter what you do to them. They are still pretty comfortable but I sure miss the exceptional fluff. It stretches out like an adorable Sharpei with the front cushions all saggy and wrinkly.
